The many magical adventures of Harry Potter and his friends are returning to the big screen at Vue in Torbay to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Harry’s big screen debut back in 2001.
Based on the book series that captured the imaginations of a generation, all eight Harry Potter films will be shown at Vue.
This anniversary season will give Potterheads and film fans the perfect opportunity to revisit Hogwarts and the wizarding world’s other memorable locations the way they were meant to be experienced, on the big screen.
Marking 25 years since the film series began, the season opens on 28 August with the film that kicked it all off, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, introducing The Boy Who Lived, best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, alongside remarkable professors and pupils of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The series will conclude in early October with an epic two-part showdown in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Harry, Ron and Hermione must leave the familiar surroundings of Hogwarts behind as they prepare for a final confrontation with Lord Voldemort, whose plans threaten both the wizarding and Muggle worlds.
To mark the anniversary of the legendary series, Vue is also offering Potter fans the chance to enjoy the films alongside brand-new exclusive merchandise. This includes a collectable popcorn tin with a wand stirrer, as well as a premium Harry Potter-themed cup.
