Road closed after lorry crash – Update

A lorry crash has left Totnes Road closed in Collaton St Mary this morning (May 19).

UPDATE: The road has reopened

The A385 is still closed as recovery of the vehicles takes place.

The accident happened near Blagdon road and involved a lorry and delivery van.

There are no reports of serious injuries but one of the drivers is believed to have been taken to hospital.

Emergency services remain on scene.

Traffic is currently being diverted via Berry Pomeroy.

The road could remain closed for sometime, we will update when further information becomes available.
