The fire service were called to reports of a fire in Huxhams Cross, Dartington this afternoon (16 August) at 15:14.
One appliance from Totnes was mobilised to the incident.
On arrival crews discovered one single storey shed (6m x 2m) containing logs, well alight.
A second crew from Totnes was also mobilised to the incident.
One gas cylinder had been removed prior to the arrival of the Fire Service.
Fire crews are at work with two breathing apparatus cylinders and one hose reel jet.
Fire crews made steady progress turning over and damping down.
Fire crews worked with two breathing apparatus wearers, one hose reel jet and a thermal image camera. The fire was extinguished just before 17:30.
The fire had also spread to one garden rotivator and six metres of hedgerow.
One adjacent motorhome suffered five percent heat damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fire Service.
