Taylor Wimpey supports No Mow May with seed donation to primary schools in Devon

Taylor Wimpey Exeter has recently celebrated this year’s No Mow May with two primary schools across Devon by donating several wildflower packs to be planted in green areas at each of the schools.

The Taylor Wimpey Exeter team donated wildflower seed packs to West Cliff Primary Academy located near to the housebuilders Brook Vale development in Dawlish and to Collaton St Mary School, close to Taylor Wimpey’s St Mary View. The seeds have been put to good use and will be planted by pupils to mark this year’s No Mow May.

Julie Vowden, Senior Administrator at West Cliff Primary Academy said: “Our pupils were really excited to receive this donation and plant new seeds. It’s the perfect time of year for such an activity and we’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for the donation.

“Green spaces in our school are a really important part of the children’s learning. We’re keen to see the flowers bloom which will hopefully attract even more wildlife.”

Emma Smith, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to support West Cliff Primary Academy and Collaton St Mary School with wildflower packs to celebrate this year’s No Mow May campaign.

“We’re committed to creating greener, healthier communities for our customers and taking part in No Mow May is one of the many ways we are doing just that. It’s a fantastic initiative and one that has a real benefit to our environment and we’re pleased to be playing our part to help.”

Located in Devon, Brook Vale and St Mary View both offer a range of properties ideal for first time buyers, growing families and downsizers alike.
