Teenager dies following collision in Paignton

The teenager involved in a collision in Paignton yesterday has sadly passed away.

The police contacted people who helped at the scene earlier today and have since made this news public.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon near Paignton train station.

Members of the public helped the teenager, a 16 year old foreign national at the scene. He had suffered from serious head injuries. He was airlifted to Derriford hospital where he tragically passed away.

Our thoughts are with his family.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit on 101, quoting log 344 of 6 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
