Teenager passes away following Torquay cliff fall

The Teenager who fell from Cliffs in Torquay yesterday (19 September) has sadly passed away.

The young man, named locally as Tom Rendle, fell 30ft down a cliff and suffered serious head injuries.

Coastguard and ambulance crews adminstered first aid at the scene and then transferred the 17 year old to hospital but he sadly passed away this morning.

News broke on social media this afternoon of his passing.

Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
