The Railway Children – an extraordinary journey on stage at the Palace Theatre

Step into the enchanting world of “The Railway Children,” a heartwarming play brought to the stage at the Palace Theatre, Paignton by Bijou Theatre Productions from 26th November.

Follow the spirited siblings – Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis – who, after their father’s mysterious disappearance, move to a cottage by a railway. Their adventures spark friendships with railway workers and lead them on a quest to uncover the truth.

With an amazing local cast, stunning set designs and immersive soundscapes, the production captures the charm of the Edwardian era, making you feel as if you’re on the railway alongside the characters. This play beautifully explores themes of family, resilience, and hope, appealing to both young audiences and adults alike. The three children are played by  Robin Coyle as Phyllis, Jaxlee Harris as Peter, Lousie Jessamine as Roberta.

Join us for this magical adaptation that promises laughter, adventure, and emotional depth – an unforgettable experience for families, couples, and friends. Don’t miss your chance to witness this extraordinary journey!

Tickets, £5 – £16

Dates Wednesday 26 – Saturday 29 November 19:30, matinee Saturday 29 November 14:30
