Thieves – Urine trouble. A lesson why you shouldn’t steal..

Thieves in Torquay got more than they bargained for when they stole a bag from public toilets.

As a local woman was washing her hands in the public toilets opposite WH smiths, 3 young females swiped a H Samuals bag that the woman had placed beside her, the girls then quickly left the toilets.

The woman had been on her way to an appointment at Mount Stuart hospital, the bag did not contain jewellery or a nice gift. It contained a urine sample.

Fortunately the victim was not too shaken by the ordeal and is still laughing at the thought of the girls opening the bag to find the ‘goods’

As she says: “They really did take the p*ss!”

Lets hope they have learnt their lesson!

Please keep an eye on your purchases when out shopping, evidently thieves are operating in the area.

This also happened to a friend of mine in Earls Court when we were living there in the early 1960’s. Her’s was in a small green Gordon’s Gin bottle and taken out of her bag whilst we were in a coffee bar.
