Torquay caravan fire believed to be deliberate

The fire service were called to a fire in Marble Court,  Upton, Torquay in the early hours of this morning.

Fire control received numerous calls to report a caravan on fire just after 2am.

2 appliances were mobilised, 1 from Torquay and another from Paignton.

Crews confirmed that this caravan was well alight, and attempted to extinguish using 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.

The caravan was totally destroyed by fire and it is believed this was deliberately ignited.
