Trek the Sahara for Rowcroft Hospice in 2027

Rowcroft Hospice is inviting adventure-seekers to join them on a challenge of a lifetime in 2027 by trekking across the Sahara Desert, one of the largest and most breathtaking deserts in the world. Taking place from 10–15 March 2027, this long-weekend trek offers the chance to take on an extraordinary journey while raising vital funds to support Rowcroft’s end-of-life care for patients and families across South Devon.

The trek will take participants through the ever-changing landscape of the Sahara, culminating at the top of the mighty Chigaga Dunes to watch the sunrise over the desert. Along the way, trekkers will enjoy sweeping vistas as far as the eye can see, with the volcanic Anti-Atlas Mountains as their backdrop. Guided by traditional Berbers, participants will also enjoy the delights of Morocco firsthand and be mesmerised by the remoteness and solitude of the desert.
