Two people cut free from car following Buckfastleigh collision

Update: Man airlifted to hospital from Hopes Nose, Torquay

Two people were cut free from a vehicle following a road traffic collision in Buckfastleigh around 4.45pm this evening (8 September)

The collision in Dartbridge Road, Buckfastleigh involved a bus and a car.

One fire appliance from Buckfastleigh and one fire appliance from Ashburton were mobilised to the incident.

One female person and one male person were released by fire service personnel using hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools.

Ambulance and Police also attended.
