We spoke to one resident who said:

“I went down to the car at 3 am to find my wing mirror pushed the wrong way and the back of it in the middle of the road. I was lucky because I could put mine back together, but then I checked out the other cars to find they weren’t so lucky. I did what I hope others would do and picked up the parts and put them on their cars. What has the world come to when you can’t even park outside your own house?”

At 9.30 am, 11 cars were still parked, 5 of them had damaged wing mirrors. The others had been pushed back but did not appear to have been damaged.

Anyone with information can speak to the police on (non emergency number) 101.
