A vintage start to the festive season

Dartington Hall is a very special place during the festive period; its stunning setting is the perfect Christmas card scene. So there is little wonder that the well established, Devon based event company Miss Ivy Events has chosen the hall as the venue for their new Christmas event, ‘All Things Vintage and Festive’.

On Sunday 7th December the medieval Great Hall and surrounding grounds will be transformed into a vintage and handmade wonderland – making it a one-stop shop for all shoppers’ festive needs.

With over 45 stalls visitors can purchase unique and handmade gifts for all the family, plus accessories and homewares. Ladies can get their glam on in the beauty parlour and photo booth. There is also a free workshop to help you choose the perfect outfits for all those festive outings.  All this for just £2 entry per person, under 12’s are free.

To set the tone there will be festive favorites played by the very popular Spectrum Wind Band and swing and jazz singer, Becky Brine. Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without mulled wine and mince pies a plenty!
