Warning after bogus social workers target Torquay mum

A Torquay mum has warned parents to be aware after bogus social workers targeted her family yesterday.

A man and woman posing as social workers claiming to be social workers called at her home in the Hele area of Torquay at around 9.15am.

The woman stated that they knew her name and the names of her children.

She had asked for I.D but only later established that the callers were not from social services.

The woman took to social media to warn parents,  asking Spotted Torquay to make people aware.

The couple are described as Male- Approx 5’8″ smartly dressed. Skinny with glasses and short grey hair. 50’s
Female: Approx 5’4″ smartly dressed. Medium build. Mid 40s. Blonde hair tied up.

The police are investigating the incident.
