Emergency services we called to an accident in Teignmouth just before 1pm today (4 August)
Two fire appliances from Teignmouth station were mobilised to reports of a collision with a person injured.
It was initially believed by the fire service that 2 vehicles had been involved.
It was later reported that the car had actually collided with a wall.
It is thought the woman was out of her car when it started to roll with her child on board.
She attempted to stop it and got injured in the process.
The woman was tranferred to Derriford hospital via air ambulance.
