A man is in hospital following a medical episode at Paignton fair earlier this evening, Tuesday 31 May.
Emergency services were called to the fair at around 6pm.
The air ambulance landed on Paignton Green.
An area was cordoned off whilst the man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The fair was temporarily closed.
A local resident told us: “The fair staff were amazing. They put up screens for the persons privacy and closed the rides so that people left the area.”
