A womam and her dog were rescued from a lift in Torquay earlier this evening, 5th February.
The fire service were called to a woman and a dog stuck on a lift on Abbey Road just after 6pm.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website: “One appliance from Torquay was mobilised following a report to the Fire Service Control Room from a female and her dog stuck in a lift at the above location.
“On arrival at the scene crew got to work and released the female with her dog from the lift cage using small tools both were uninjured,”
