Sisters Claire and Charlie Cooper are taking on the Two Moors Way in an unusual manner! They have always been close but this 120 mile (189 km) coast to coast walk will see them literally bound together in a three-legged fashion!
Walking in memory of three VERY special Mums who left us too soon: Catherine, Harriet & Cindy, the three-legged duo will be starting from Wembury on 31st March – Mother’s Day – and aim to make it to Lynmouth on the North coast of Devon by 7th April.
Charlie said: “We have decided to do this 3-legged to represent the closeness of friendships and how, nothing is impossible when you have a buddy by your side. We will be walking approx 20 miles a day and aim to make it across, however long it takes! We will be raising money for Rowcroft Hospice and Cancer Research and would love your support. We are very grateful to Charlie and Claire for choosing to support us through this challenge. The funds raised for us will help us provide care and support to patients and their loved ones across South Devon at the most difficult of times.’
Rowcroft care for over 2000 patients every year across 300sq miles of South Devon and over ¾ of that care is provided in patients own homes. They are committed to making every day the best day possible for people living with life-limiting illnesses and providing comfort and support to their families.
