Emergency services were called to a collision in Kingswear this morning.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the two vehicle collision on the A379 at around 7.20am
One woman was trapped within a vehicle and released by Fire crews using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The road was closed until 9.40am
One person was taken to hospital.
