This Saturday saw the third installment of the ‘Christmas by the Sea’ events in Torquay town centre.

The theme for this week was a Silent Disco and beach themed party held in association with Parkfield based, Sound Communities. Over 200 people of all ages came and pinned their memories of Christmases past to the tree, plus their hopes for Christmases to come.

They then went on to boogie to some classic festive hits at the silent disco held at Fleet Walk. Shoppers also spread messages of festive cheer by recording them in the ‘beach hut sound studio’ which will be played on air via Ocean Youth radio station over the coming weeks.
