The meeting will also be streamed live on the Council’s YouTube channel for those who wishing to watch live or after the event.

Partners from all relevant organisations have been invited to the meeting to discuss how outcomes can be improved for young people’s health and wellbeing.

Members of the public are invited to submit general questions on this subject before the meeting.

They are asked to email questions to scrutiny@torbay.gov.uk by Thursday, 16 November 2023. Please note that the Board will not be able to consider individual cases or personal circumstances at the meeting.

The Council’s Scrutiny Lead for Children’s Services, Councillor Cordelia Law, said: “There have been a number of concerns over the support available and access to mental health and wellbeing services for children and young people.

“We would like to explore this further to see how we can work together differently to support our young people.”

The agenda and meeting documents are due to be published on Tuesday, 5 December, 2023, on the Torbay Council website.
