A380 closed following serious collision

Update: The road is now clear.

The A380 Southbound is currently closed due to serious accident early this morning, Saturday 9th February.

Emergency services were called to a collision between a car and pedestrian at around 5.30am. The pedestrian has been seriously injured in the incident.

Police, ambulance crews and air ambulance attended the incident.

The road is closed from A381 Torquay Road (Penn Inn Roundabout, Newton Abbot) to Torquay Road (Torquay).

Police are currently investigating the scene.
