Update: The road has reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
The A379 is currently blocked both ways due to an accident in Paignton.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Dartmouth Road near the Penwill way junction just before 4pm.
The accident involves an overturned car.
Emergency services remain on scene. Traffic is being diverted by police.
