Update: The male pedestrian has been airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious accident in Torquay this morning, Sunday, 26th November.
Belgrave Road is currently closed both ways. Police, ambulance and fire crews are at the scene.
The incident happened near the Bull and Bush pub.
An air ambulance has landed nearby in Lucius Street Car park.
The collision appears to have involved a pedestrian. People at the scene say an elderly man was knocked down.
Police have confirmed a coach was involved.
The road is expected to be closed for some time.
