Television antique expert Adam Partridge is well known for his regular appearances on Flog It!, Bargain Hunt and Dickinson’s Real Deal, but on the 20th June he will be in Torquay with several of his specialist valuers to advise on all areas of art, antiques & collectors’ items.
Members of the public are invited to attend between 11am and 5pm to bring along any antique or collectable item, and Adam and his team will be able to tell you the history and value of every piece. For those with multiple items or larger pieces, free home visits are also being arranged and you are welcome to bring photographs along if appropriate.
If the valuation tempts you into selling anything, items can be left on the day for forthcoming specialist auctions.Studio Ceramic specialist Jason Wood will be present and knows the area well having curated part of the collection at Agatha Christie’s holiday home, Greenway. “I spend a lot of time in Devon & Cornwall visiting regular clients who collect studio ceramics and 20th century design, and with such a rich history in the South West I am looking forward to seeing what treasures are brought along on the day”
There is a charge of £5 for a single item or £10 for unlimited items with all money raised going directly to Torre Abbey for their continuing work on this incredible site.
If you are unable to attend but would still like a valuation please contact Chris Surfleet on 01803368945.
Adam’s senior valuer Chris relocated to Torbay last year and is now based in the area offering valuations for auction, probate, insurance and family division. He will be pleased to arrange a confidential free valuation at a time to suit you.
