Police appeal to find missing man from Plymouth

Police are  searching for 51-year-old man missing from Plymouth and are appealing for the public’s help to locate him.

James Thompson was last seen at the Travelodge in Howeson Lane, Derriford, around 12.30pm yesterday [1 February] and is believed to have headed on foot in the direction of the Burrator area of Dartmoor.

Have you seen Torbay man wanted by police?

Mr Thompson is described as around 5ft 8ins tall, of slight build, with dark very short hair and stubble. He is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a black faded T-shirt, and a brown long length parker jacket.

Police are conducting local searches for Mr Thompson and appealing for the public to urgently report sightings to them.

Anyone who sees Mr Thompson or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police via 999, quoting log number 0449 of 01/02/17.
