Appeal for information after woman grabbed on Walls Hill

Police have appealed for information after reports of an attempted sexual assault on a woman in Torquay on Friday 19th July.

The victim reports to have been approached from behind by an unknown man on the downs at Walls Hill, he pulled her hair and attempted to remove her trousers.

The incident took place between 9.20pm and 9.40pm.

The victim, a woman in her 30 left the area unharmed.

The suspect is described a male, around 6ft – 6ft 2ins. He was believed to be wearing a long sleeved black top with black or dark blue jeans.

Police are investigating the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/064804/19.
