Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust said on social media: “We were shocked and appalled to discover that our Yurt cover was stolen overnight from Occombe Farm, damaging the frame in the process.

“Our Yurt is used as a base for our charitable educational activities and currently provided a place for our community volunteers to meet for lunch and breaks. They now have no where to meet. As a small, local charity we only managed to fund its recover last winter. We are devastated.

“We have reported this to Devon and Cornwall Police. If you can help us, saw or heard anything during last night please get in touch: info@countryside-trust.org.uk”
