Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collison in Exeter yesterday, Friday 25th September.
Emergency services were called at approximately 4.10pm to a collision involving a Green Royal Enfield motorcycle and a Blue VW Scirocco on the M5 Southbound on-slip, Junction 30, Sandygate.
The motorcycle rider was taken to RD&E in Exeter with critical injures. His next-of-kin have been informed.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst a forensic examination of the collision scene was conducted.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene and are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or either vehicle prior to the collision, particularly those who may have dash camera footage, to contact police, quoting log number 554 of 25/09/20.
