Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision near Newton Abbot yesterday, Tuesday 19 September.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a van and pedestrian on the A382 atvarpund 9.20pm.
The pedestrian, a 16-year-old local boy, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. His next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed whilst police investigated the scene.
