Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 9th June.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle collision on the A381 just before 6am.
The incident happened near Pier’s Cottage, west of West Alvington, near Kingsbridge.
The sole occupant, a local 30-year-old man, was trapped in the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The road was closed whilst a forensic examination took place.
Any witnesses to this incident are asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log reference number 0210 of 09 June 2019.
