Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Paignton

Road closed due to police incident in Torquay

Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision in Paignton yesterday, Sunday 12 February.

Emergency services were called to reports of a single vehicle collison on Goodrington Road, involving a grey Land Rover at approximately 6.20pm.

The driver, a female in her 60s from the Torbay area, was declared deceased at the scene. The passenger was unhurt.

The road was closed for 8 hours whilst investigation work took place.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended to investigate and establish how the collision occurred.
