Motorcyclist dies following collision in Plymouth

Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A38 near Plympton.

Emergency services were called to reports of an overturned vehicle on the eastbound carriageway at Smithaleigh at around 10.30am on Sunday 2 October. Officers found a man in his 20s deceased near the vehicle.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances that led to the collision, which is thought to have taken place in the early hours of Saturday 1 October.
