Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision in Teignmouth yesterday, 4th April.
The collision happened on Bitton Park Road near First Avenue and involved a Ford Ranger pick-up and a child, emergency services were called to the scene at 4.55pm
A six year old girl from Teignmouth sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Bristol Royal Infirmary. Her injuries are not believed life-threatening or life-changing
Police closed Bitton Park Road for around three hours to carry out an examination of the scene and for the vehicle to be recovered.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision and asking anyone with information to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by phone on 101, quoting log number 535 of 04/04/17.
