Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A379, near Shaldon, Teignmouth on Monday, 17 March.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a red Hyundai i20 and a silver Toyota Yaris at around 5.35pm.
A 23-year-old man was taken to Derriford Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Three other people sustained minor injuries and were checked over at Torbay Hospital.
The road was closed whilst the scene was investigated.
