Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collison in Torquay this morning, Thursday 5 May.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between car and a bicycle on Beechfield Avenue at around 8.15am.
A woman in her 40s sustained serious injuries. She was initially taken to Torbay Hospital but was later transferred to Derriford Hospital.
The road remained was closed until around 2pm.
The police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage that could help the police with their enquiries.
