Appeal for witnesses following assault in Kingsbridge

Police in Kingsbridge have appealed for witnesses following an upskirting incident today, Friday 3rd August.

Upskirting is where images are taken from under a persons skirt (or kilt) without permission.

The incident happened this afternoon in the town.

Kingsbridge Police said on Facebook: “At approximately 1400hrs this afternoon an incident occurred on the steps leading from Tesco up to Fore Street car park where a male was seen to be filming up a woman’s skirt. The male was chased by members of the public.

“The male offender is described as a white male, 50-60 years of age, short, wearing shorts and wearing a backpack.

“If anybody may have witnessed this ‘upskirting’ incident, or if you know, or were the people who chased the offender, then please email me direct 10900@dc.police.uk Thanks,”
