Can you help police locate wanted Newton Abbot man?

Update: Ian James Mitchell has been located.

Devon and Cornwall Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a man from the Dawlish area wanted in connection to an allegation of assault.

Police have asked that anyone who has seen Ian James Mitchell, 40, or knows of his whereabouts to call 999 immediately and warned not to approach him.

Police state extensive enquiries have failed to locate him, and officers are now appealing to the public to report any sightings or information as to his whereabouts.

Mitchell is said to have links to Dawlish, Plymouth and Gunnislake.
