If so then Rowcroft Hospice would love to hear from you! Rowcroft is holding a Careers Open Day on Saturday 20 May between 10am and 3pm at its new lifestyle shop in Torquay Road, Preston.
The open day is a great opportunity to meet some of the professional teams who work at Rowcroft and find out what it’s really like to be part of this fantastic local organisation.
Whether you’re a registered nurse looking to return to practice or you currently work in a retail setting and are looking for a new challenge, Rowcroft’s Open Day is a great opportunity to discuss your future career development.
“We have some great opportunities to join a professional, friendly and collaborative team, making a real difference to the local community,”said
Caroline Wannell, Rowcroft’s Head of Retail.
Rowcroft employs around 250 people in diverse teams across the organisation – all with one common goal: to make every day the best day possible for people living with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon.
Hundreds of volunteers also provide vital support in many varied roles.
Michelle Ayling, Inpatient Unit Manager at Rowcroft Hospice, said: “If you’d like to find out more about working for Rowcroft, please do come along to our open day for an informal discussion about what it’s really like to work here, understand how we can support and develop your nursing career, and dispel some of the myths about working for a hospice. I look forward to meeting you.”
The open day will be running between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 20 May and there’s no need to book. Just drop in to the Rowcroft Hospice shop in Preston to meet the friendly team who will be on hand to answer any questions you have.
