Police have appealed for information following an arson attack in Ashburton at the weekend.
The incident happened on Sunday 8th of January 2017 at 00:12am. A silver Ford C-Max was set on fire, destroying the car and damaging another vehicle and nearby fence.
A spokesperson for Ashburton and Chudleigh Policing area – Teignbridge said:
“This is now the second car fire we have had in this area. It is clear that both cars were targeted. For whatever reason that may be this type of behavior is highly dangerous, stupid and totally unacceptable.
“Fires present a significant risk to the community and this incident could have had far more serious consequences,”
