Biker dies following collision in Torquay

A biker has died following a collision in Torquay.

The single vehicle collision, involving a motorcycle happened yesterday, Wednesday 26th June at around 8.50pm on the A379, Teignmouth Road.

The motorcycle had been travelling from Torquay towards Teignmouth. The motorcyclist has lost control and collided with roadside furniture and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The road was closed whilst the scene was investigated by police, officers are working to establish the cause of this collision.

Police have thanked the public for their patience while they investigated the scene. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to telephone 101 quoting Log 894 26/06/19.
