Brixfest returns for for eighth annual festival

BrixFest the annual free family festival returns to Brixham from 25th – 27th May.

Expect heritage events, exciting local live music, a huge grand firework display, and so much more!

The festival, back for it’s eighth year will opened by local radio presenter Matt Rogan at 11am on Saturday 25th May, followed by live music from Brixham Town Band. Expect Music, stalls, cooking demos and huge grand firework display at 9:50pm.

Sunday will see the annual BrixFest Dragonboat Challenge – where teams of local people battle it out to be named BrixFest Champion!

On Monday the community will come out on Breakwater Beach at The BrixFest Children’s Day! A day full of free family activities awaits those who attend. This year there’s a focus on sustainability. The activities will all be geared toward looking after our beautiful environment. Get involved in these FREE activities from 11-4pm. There will also be a ‘Charity Market’ along Fore Street.

New for 2019, visit the “Wellbeing Garden” on the green above the beach. Yoga, mindfulness, massage…it’s got it all. A place to unwind over the bank holiday weekend.
