Shoppers visiting Drake Circus this Saturday (2nd December) with the name Nick or Nicola can bag themselves a free festive drink at Bubble CiTea in celebration of the legendary St. Nicholas.
50 drink vouchers will be redeemable from Bubble CiTea, which specialises in unique Taiwanese bubble teas, located between No. 1 Currency and Claire’s on the Ground Floor at the centre.
Customers with all derivations of Nicholas and Nicola will be able to enjoy one drink from Bubble CiTea’s Starlight range which is running throughout the festive period.
Flavours on offer include a classic ‘Gingerbread Frappe’ mixed with ground ginger, vanilla, and digestive biscuits; ‘Starlight Fruit Punch’ a fruity mixture bursting with crisp winter flavours; and ‘Starlight Oreo Frappe’ a blend of milk and Oreo cookies topped with whipped cream and Froot Loop crumbs.
Suneet Sachdeva, CEO of Bubble CiTea, said: “Christmas is a magical time of year and we’re looking forward to sharing some festive fun with the community.
“Our festive range has proved really popular with customers already – with a variety of flavours across fruit teas and milk teas coupled with an array of tasty toppings. We’re excited to welcome current and new customers as part of this fun initiative.”
Customers must bring a valid, in date photo ID in the form of a driver’s licence, passport or card bearing the ‘PASS’ logo, and will be registered to the Bubble CiTea loyalty programme upon receiving their free drink.
Greg Lumley, centre director at Drake Circus, said: “It’s great to work with Bubble CiTea to spread Christmas joy to our shoppers, and I know the festive initiative will bring a smile to many visitors.
“With 50 vouchers up for grabs, we would encourage all Nicks and Nicolas to visit early to avoid disappointment, as the offer will be on a first come first served basis.”
The centre has a range of festive entertainment ongoing throughout the month. Festive shoppers will be able to enjoy a visit from the North Pole Postal Service, with Nena the reindeer and her steward Pickle roaming the centre on the evening of 7th December to greet customers and share the wonders of Lapland, as well as the Nutcracker and Spinderella who will be at the centre on the 14th December.
Adults and children alike can enjoy the centre’s magical ‘snow flurries’ at 4:00pm, which will see Drake Circus transformed into a joyful white Christmas. Snow flurries take place every day at the Old Town Street entrance.
No visit will be complete without capturing a photo in the selfie baubles located outside Primark on the Ground Floor of the Atrium.
