Update: John Matthews has been located.
Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a man wanted wanted in connection to investigations into reports of assault, theft and threatening behaviour.
John Matthews, 37 as describe him as white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with green eyes and short dark hair.
Anyone who sees Matthews is asked not to approach him but to call 999, quoting log 355 of 1 January.
