The fire service received several reports of a car fire in Paignton this morning.
One fire engine from Paignton was mobilised to the incident in Kernel Road at 4.15am.
Crews found the car, an Audi, well alight and used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
Devon and Somerset fire service have stated that the fire was deliberate and the police have been informed.
