The fire service was called to a car fire in Abbey Road, Torquay today.
Numerous people reported the fire at around 1pm this afternoon.
A fire engine from Paignton was mobilised to the incident.
The car was well alight, the fire spread to a window of an adjacent building.
The fire was accidental.
