There were two car fires in the Barton area of Torquay in the early hours of this morning, both of which the fire service say are believed to be deliberate.
The first was in Halsteads Road, Fire Crews were called at around 2.40 am. One fire appliance from Torquay was mobilised to the incident. One car was completely destroyed by fire, two further cars were damages by heat.
The second car was parked in Moor Lane Close. Fire crews were called just before 3am to the incident, one fire appliance from Torquay attended. On arrival the crew found the car well alight. The car was also destroyed.
