Update: This has now been confirmed as a stabbing incident.
The Castle Circus area of Torquay is currently cordoned off this afternoon, Thursday 28 April.
Police and ambulance crews are at the scene. The nature of the incident has yet to be confirmed.
People at the scene have stated an air ambulance has landed nearby.
The bus lane is currently closed to traffic but it is not yet known how this is affecting routes. There are partial road closures. Some delays to traffic in and around the area.
