Firefighters in Newton Abbot were called to a cat stuck in the River Lemon yesterday, 17th April.
Shadow had become stuck in the water and was unable to move. One fire engine from Newton Abbot was mobilised to the incident at around 12:45pm
Firefighter Kris Daw climbed down a ladder and rescued Shadow who was reunited with his owner.
