Emergency services called to collision in Preston

The car overturned

Emergency services were called to a collision on Preston Down Road earlier this morning.

Police, fire crews and ambulance attended the two vehicle collision at around 8.30am.

The car overturned

A spokesperson for the fire service said:
“The Fire Service were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles. Fire Control mobilised two appliances from Paignton and Torquay.

“Upon arrival crews confirmed one vehicle was on its side, all persons were free and clear, crews got to work using small tools and hydraulic rescue equipment, crews also made the vehicle safe,”

The driver car was taken to hospital with what we understand to be minor injuries and the driver of the other vehicle, belonging to Tor2 did not suffer any serious injuries.
